Fixed Mindset and Growth Mindset

Fixed Mindset and Growth Mindset - God created human beings with different between one another in this world. Although many of us have been created twins, there is still difference, no one the same exactly.

We were created with different abilities, different characters, different temperaments, to a different fate. The difference is what makes us have to compete among one another.

Then, armed with basic skills that God has given it, whether we will use a makeshift course or trying to change into a better direction?

If you have intelligence that is different from other people, then you find someone who has intelligence above you. Which one would you choose?

  1. Compete with people who are equal or below you.
  2. Trying to become equal or surpass the person above you, or
  3. Continue learning regardless of whoever is above you.

If you choose the first answer, it means you have a fixed mindset. With this mindset you believe that your intelligence can not be changed. Intelligence / intellect you are a very fundamental thing, so you can not do much to change it.

If your preferred answer is the second answer, you will be motivated to learn more viable until you have the same ability or above the person.

However, for someone who is less resistant to pressure this can cause stress. You will devote your energy to get an equal position with your competitor and then try outmaneuvered.

In this second option, you will be limited by someone who is above you that. You will be focused on ability, not on your ability. You will try to equal him, then slowly try outmaneuvered.

If you chose the third answer, you will do anything no matter who your competitors. You learn to keep no matter how big your abilities.

This third option is the choice of growth mindset for someone who has the mindset to develop. They believe that intelligence can be changed. Ability can be developed, and all the grace of God can continue to be changed and developed to become better.

You do not have a limit to try. You will continue to learn and face challenges freely without worrying about how much ability you have today.

Whichever option you choose, remember that an intelligent in the beginning is not necessarily intelligent in the end. The lucky at the start will not necessarily have the same luck in the final.

Of course, this option will keep changing according to circumstances that took place. All depends on our efforts to change your mindset for the better or let it remain on the initial state.
